ExecutiveDNA’s covenants and agrees that it will abide by, in every respect, the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). 

No Secondary Use of Protected Information

We collect Protected Information (definition: Information that is either Personal Information or Confidential Information) that is needed to deliver our services, including recruiting and consulting, that is required for administration, invoicing and networking. 

We collect personal information about you when you request our expertise, including but not limited to full name, street address, phone number, email address, working visa, opinions and other information that could be used to provide you with our recruiting and consulting services. As well as this, we collect personal details provided in your resume, references, education, employment qualifications and competencies; these are received by phone, letter, other electronic means and collected by other parties.

ExecutiveDNA covenants and agrees that it will not use any Protected Information provided or disclosed to it by a Client for any purpose other than that for which it was provided or disclosed.

No Disclosure without Authorisation

Except as is necessary to fulfil its obligations to the Client, ExecutiveDNA will not disclose Protected Information without your consent unless we believe it is required: 

  • By law
  • Provide a service which you have requested
  • Less a serious threat to a person’s health or safely

Retention of Personal Information

ExecutiveDNA shall only retain Protected Information for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it is disclosed by the Client.

You are entitled to withdraw this consent at any time by giving notice to contact@executivedna.net. You acknowledge that such withdrawal shall apply prospectively.

ExecutiveDNA may also transfer your Personal Data to clients (and its agents), suppliers (mainly, IT providers and financial and legal advisors), authorities and to other ExecutiveDNA affiliates, based locally or abroad, in order to reasonably deliver our services. In any case, transfers to third parties will strictly be on a need to know basis, in order to comply with contractual or legal obligations.

Keeping Information Accurate, Complete & Up to Date

While keeping in mind why the information is being collected, ExecutiveDNA takes reasonable steps to make sure that the information is accurate, complete and up-to-date at the time of collection and when used or disclosed. 

Data Security

Electronic information is stored on a secure server that is protected in controlled facilities. When electronic information is no longer required it is permanently destroyed. When physical information is no longer required it is placed in a locked confidential security bin and destroyed or shredded. In addition, our employees are bound by strict confidentiality clauses in their employment contracts.
